Swiss food innovation company FoodYoung Labs has acquired California-based MeliBio, the start-up behind what is claimed to be the world’s first animal-free honey, Mellody.

Bee-free honey start-up MeliBio has received a new strategic investment from Future Food Fund by Oisix, a Japanese venture capital fund.
